Describe the product in context
State the intended customer, activity and selling market. Add the style name, reference images and revision date. Mark reference images as direction only when they are not exact specifications.
Document the construction
Identify upper panels, lining, reinforcement, closures, insole and sole components. Include materials, colours, artwork placement and measurements where known. Flag missing decisions explicitly rather than allowing a supplier to guess.
Make fit and allocation visible
Provide the sample size, size range, fit reference and any grading requirements. Include the planned quantity by colour and size. A total order quantity alone cannot describe the assortment to be produced.
Connect product and delivery requirements
Add test requirements, labels, packaging and the target delivery window. Nominate an approval owner, keep revisions in one controlled file and record which sample corresponds to the current document.
